Druid Kitty ( from World of Warcraft) in snow...

Drew this with really crappy colored pencils at work...heh....
..It's harder and harder to draw in natural mediums vs the computer/wacolm I've gotten so used to.

Sometimes I get an itch at work though.

Subject: ...I think I was feeling rather isolated and tired when I drew this.......kind of as if I were trying to emotionally just "give up"......::shrugs:: I have my emo moments :)....still interesting picture, I guess.....not sure what the little sapling at his paws represents......hope?..silver-lining?

I do like the way you drew the cat form :aww: I really like how you can see his muscles and his ribs :) He doesn't look completely forlorn, cause he is looking at the little plant.

Yes, sad mood, beautiful art.

One of the great advantages of non-digital media is that many of them are extremely portable, responsive, and cheap; and don't need booting up. Don't get out of touch with them.

Aye...sometimes the more natural mediums can be alittle....TOO responsive for my own good.. :D

Digital is so nice about erasing absolutely the flaws, but....maybe that's not exactly the right way to think about it? I mean, flaws are often beautiful in themselves..? ::shrugs::

I'll take your advice and try to dabble alittle more in the mediums I grew up in :P

Well, there it is; flaws are often beautiful in themselves, and sometimes mess up what you were working on, and the difference is at times subtle and hard to describe. An unforgiving medium can sometimes keep you focused, or push you into new insights, or go bad in a totally frustrating way. Or even go bad in an inspiring way....

Aye, I agree with the sitting-in-snow commentary!

I love snow, quite beautiful especially when fresh and new :D..

I hope you're finding your druid enjoyable. It's by far my favorite class.
